Today’s Forgiving Fridays: Forgiveness is a Constant Attitude for 2020! :)

Hi everyone!  Happy Forgiving Fridays. 🙂

Here is a 3-4 minute video I did with some tips for you to move forward into the New Year and use forgiveness to help you.  One of them is from this great book, “The Soul of Money” by Lynne Twist, where she talks about how what you appreciate, appreciates.  Plus a question you can ask when you feel really stuck where you are.  I know it’s helped me when I don’t want to take action, or feel small, or lost.  Enjoy everyone!!

And a note….I am so grateful to share my experiences with forgiveness here with you, and to read your comments and blog posts sharing your own wisdom.  I learn a lot each time I read your writing!  What a community circle we have created––of kindness, of empathy, and of compassion for self and each other.  Thank you.

I love you.

Ps – Monday is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, so I’m posting a quote from him below the video!  It’s one of my favorites. 🙂  Wherever you are, and however you’re doing, take a moment now and simply give yourself a big forgiveness hug.  This is a key thing that you can do anytime to forgive, because hey, it comes in many forms!!

    1. Shona, lovely to “see” you here! Isn’t that Martin Luther King quote great? Sending you a blessing and a hug. ❤
      With love,

ps – I did a demo on the process of Self-forgiveness for a group I'm running called "21 Days of Forgiveness". Let me know if you want me to send it to you (and totally fine if not).

      With love,

ps – I started a group in the end of January to help people slow down with the steps to forgive. What an incredible discovery for the participants….we’re wrapping up this Saturday with a live online call. Please keep us in your heart. Thank you!

    1. This is so beautiful. “Lightness of being” is a gorgeous way to express your experience when you do forgiving. Thank you for sharing, and so glad you’re here! Blessings, Debbie

ps – I’ve written a beautiful action step on forgiveness called “Identifying Judgments”––it’s part of a group that I offered to slow down with the steps and practice of Self-forgiveness. If you’d like to see it, let me know and I can send you an email….so wonderful an exercise to deepen in the process to let go and have faith. 🙂
