Today’s forgiving journal:Receiving the nurturing of love

Today’s forgiving journal is about receiving the nurturing of love.

I went to go up to New Hampshire to visit my family today.  This is in the midst of getting ready to move across the country.

I just knew I had to go …. I wanted to give them my love and to just connect with them before moving.  God, I am so glad that I went.

I forgot how nurturing it is to be up here with my family.  It feels like my Soul is drinking of the love we share.

Time for forgiving:

1 – Self-forgiveness: I forgive myself for judging myself for feeling like I receive too much.  I forgive myself for judging myself as selfish if I want love.

2- Letting Go: I am just letting go of all these judgments about feeling self-centered into the Light.  I am crying a little because this one feels deep.  I give it to the biggest loving heart that I know, so that I may walk free.

3 – Gratitude: I am so grateful for choosing to come up here to see my family.  I am grateful for the ability to receive and to give love.  I am grateful for the big hearts of my family, and of myself.

I feel like I’m rambling a little.  And you know what?  That is a part of loving communication … it’s not always linear or sensical, sometimes it feels so indescribable or silly.  And you know what I get?  It is always, always beauteous.  And it is ok to receive love, that is a part of sharing.

I love you.  Here is a photo of me after a night with my family.

Love,

Debbie

ps – this blog is my contribution for Dutch Goes The Photo’s Nature’s Beauty.  Frank, today the beauty that nature created is me …. with love.

  1. Debbie, I’m glad you got to spend time with your family. I’m sure it will help you in your move to the West coast. I also liked how you describe that communication is not always linear or sensical. Sometimes it is what it is. Take care!

    1. Hugs to you too, Rhonda! My favorite cousin is near Portsmouth. She’s married, with three lovely kids and two dogs and a cat. They live in a renovated farmhouse, and it is so warm and cozy. I’m glad that I went. Important to do before coming back to LA. Hope you are wonderful! Blessings, Rhonda. 🙂
