Today’s Forgiving Fridays – I’m moving on Tuesday and Letting Love In!

Happy #ForgivingFridays everyone! Yay!

This is a creative prompt for you to write a post on letting go and forgiving, or what happens when you do that.  You can do your post ANY DAY this week!

It can be anything that inspires YOU to forgive and choose love – even if you’re struggling.  e.g.: write a poem, share a quote or video, do an act of kindness, forgive yourself or someone else. 🙂 I look forward to see what you do!

**This is my contribution to Sue Vincent’s Thursday challenge and for Frank’s Light and Dark.  I’m bringing positive energy into my old apartment so it’s filled with Light and love. Thank you!**

Well, I did it everyone!  I’m moving on Tuesday.  This is a big change, and I’m asking for your help.

Can you send positive energy for my move?  Let’s envision together that each person I connect with this week be blessed and filled with love.  How cool is this?

It can be so easy to think that you’re alone, and the truth is that we are all family.  Even if it doesn’t always seem that way.

I am moving into a residence called “Briggs” – it’s a community space in a gorgeous restored mansion, and four other sweet people live there as well.  This was right in front of me for months, and I needed to wait until I was aligned inwardly to do it.

I got the green light on Monday – just a week before my move!!  I heard inside, “you only live once”, and my heart said do it.  I think I had a lot of blocks to hearing the calling of my heart, because it’s not what I thought I’d be doing.  (e.g., I wanted to move in with my partner David, live in Santa Monica, have a home coaching office, etc.)

I am so proud of myself for saying yes.  And I have 4 more days until I move, so the rest of this story will need to wait.  Promise I’ll send photos soon!

move sept 2018For now, I’d like to end with an invitation to put positive energy in my old apartment to bless the next people who live there….and to walk with me as I let go of  any judgments on my experience and step into freedom.

When we ask for positive energy in a space, that’s what we do when we forgive.  It’s like we’re going around in our consciousness, placing Light there and opening to receive love.  And you can ask for people to help you!  We are all loving each other home.

On this #ForgivingFridays, I choose to reach out and let myself be supported by love. And I forgive!

Here’s a video I did for us to place positive energy on a walk through of my home:

Have a wonderful weekend.

I love you.

Love,

Debbie

I am SO SO grateful for all of you who contribute to Forgiving Fridays.  I learn so much from you!  Here are contributions from this week & some from last week too – they were magnificent:

Etta of Simply Etta D.  shared really courageous techniques on how to pick ourselves up when we’re feeling down.  I read the first one and thought “I love this one”, and then I read the next one and thought the same thing.  So wise and helpful Etta!

DeB of Roaming Urban Gypsy contributed TWO paintings to celebrate our true beauty – one is a wonderful Mardi Gras depiction and the second is influenced by Japanese style.  Plus a George Benson song!

Frank of Poetry, Short Prose and Walking gave us a poem asking for the help and reassurance of our inner guidance.  I experienced such gentle love when I read it. Thanks Frank!

Lacey of Big And Pinky Toes had great news – she had a beautiful baby girl, Delta Chloe Hamilton.  So full of love.  Yay!!  Congratulations and blessings.

Revived Writer contributed a heartfelt poem on how she rose above her fears about this school semester – she was present with herself in honesty and love.  How self-honoring!

Ali of Flashlight Batteries gave us a mystical poem on the clarity that comes with healing and letting go of old memories – revealing a future filled with Light. I was so touched!

Pragalbha of Infinite Living contributed a poem and encouragement to slow down our mind, be in the spaces between thoughts, and open to what truly calls us.  Includes a gorgeous graphic!

Karen of Blue Sky Days 365 wrote a powerful poem on how forgiveness can help us heal all wounds, let go of the past (no matter how far back), and open our hearts. Truly exquisite!

Nikki of A Kinder Way gave us an incredible post on how we can embrace who we are and to let our LIGHT SHINE.  Includes such courage and authentic expression!

Bella of ThoughtsnLifeBlog contributed beautiful inspirations and a prayer to celebrate the festival of forgiveness.  So much compassion, caring and empathy!

 ❤

Here are the guidelines of #ForgivingFridays:

  • Every day is Friday!  Do a post today or anytime this week.
  • Be creative – there’s LOTS of space for your expression! Write a poem, take a photo, post a quote, share your story …  what opens your heart?
  • Include #ForgivingFridays in your tags
  • Create a pingback link to this post so I can find you.
  • Have fun – you are awesome!

  2. Debbie, all the best for the move. Lovely act of kindness putting positive engery in your old home for the next people. That is such a beautiful act of goodness.

Asking for forgiveness for the naiviety of our youth, that led us to hold onto incorrect understanding for so long that stops from really understanding the other person.

We are one family and we have so much to learn from each other.

Wishing you live, a blessed move and fantastic future.
