Today’s forgiving journal: Love Is All There Is – A heart blessing

Today’s forgiving journal is love is all there is – a heart blessing.

When I was a little girl, I used to say that love is what makes the world go around.

And today, I saw the Rockettes.  They sang a song, “It’s all about love.” And that little girl’s wonder awakened in me again.

This blog in many ways is the continued expression of this message within me, that love is where it’s at.  I hold to that.

So it happens that the photo challenge this week of a dear blogger Dutch Goes the Photo is “Trash”.  Frank encouraged is to take a different view, and to open our readers to a new perspective on trash.

My contribution is a strawberry plant in my back garden.  I thought it was trash, i.e., that it was just done for.  I hadn’t seen strawberries in over a month, and the leaves were getting brown.  And yet I watered it anyway.  Today, there were strawberries for the first time in so long!!!

It’s like me with forgiving.  I sometimes want to give up on myself, and nevertheless I continue to water myself with this act of love.

I forgive myself for judging myself for wanting to give up on myself.

This is my forgiving for today.  I let it go into the strawberry plant in the sky & I am

    1. Oh I love that, Andrea – “harvesting the good”. My spiritual mentor John Morton has said “Let’s go out and do some good.” You just reminded me that a part of that is receiving ❤ (thanks) Great to connect with you, and blessings.

    1. Yes! Definitely. A few times, I asked myself why I kept watering them, and yet I still did it. I figured they are living plants in my garden, so I’m going to tend to them. Blessings, Rhonda you are great.
