Today’s forgiving journal: Speaking kindness

Today’s forgiving journal is about speaking kindness. ‪#‎Iforgive‬ ‪#‎chooselife‬

I just got back to NY yesterday, after two weeks of being with my spiritual family in Los Angeles. I’m sitting here in my apartment, and I know that it is very important for me to connect with myself. Because that is the first thing, isn’t it? When we’re not sure what’s next – what better step than to touch in to me.

I saved a graphic last week for this blog. It’s a bracelet that says “Speak kindness”. God, this is my intention with myself today, to speak kindness – starting with all those parts that need a little attention.

Speak Kindness July 9 2016Time for forgiving:

1 – Self-forgiveness: I forgive myself for judging myself for wanting to turn away from myself when I feel uncomfortable or uncertain.
2 – Letting Go: I let go of all the times I did turn away from myself into the Light. I smile and say “IT IS SO OK! I LOVE MYSELF!”
3 – Gratitude: I am grateful to write in this journal right now. It is a safe space for me to turn to.

What’s present now:

I am experiencing a blank slate inside of me. I am excited to go to the Farmer’s market (it’s just up the block at Prospect Park each Saturday!). I am aware of kindness going to all the cells of my body – it’s cool, like there is a kindness canoe rowing through my blood vessels bestowing a caring touch.

I love you. Very nice to be back writing my blog. 🙂

Love,
Debbie

  1. Nice to have you back Debbie! 🙂 as always, a very inspiring post. Many people are kind to others but not to themselves. Thank you for the reminder that we need to be kind to ourselves too. ☺

  2. I find something very warming about speaking kindness. It makes me feel good! Telling people I love them which I do. Love them and say so. Great way to connect.

  4. Glad you’re settling in at home Debbie. (wish I could follow you to the Farmer Market at Prospect Park!!). And I do write down things to be grateful for in the mornings when I pray–in my little red book. I pulls me back to God who gives all. And I love you post idea–speaking kindness. Everyone we will talk to today, needs kind encouraging words. It’s on my mind for the day ahead. thank you.

    1. Hi Rhonda – sorry for my late reply. 🙂 Somehow I missed this. Obviously, I needed to remind myself to speak kindness today! So here I go: My intention is to speak kindness today. Hope it went great for you. Blessings. ❤

  6. Speaking kindness. I don’t remember the last time I came across encouragment towards self love. This is a beautiful post for how simple and straight forward it is. One of my main work with myself was forgiving and loving who and what I am.

You are blessed for the awareness and kindness. I am glad I came across your blog, it was worth it going to meet and greet! 🙂

    Thanks,

    Gal.
