Today’s forgiving journal is how do you treat yourself well? ❤
I did a Facebook live video this morning with a question, “How do you treat yourself as a blossom of love?”
I was inspired by a beautiful Rumi quote,
After I did the video, I got so moved by the creativity inside of me. It was expressing my creativity that is MY way of treating myself well today.
My heart is so warm and open. From this place, I’d like to do forgiveness.
I forgive myself for judging myself for buying into the misbelief that my creativity is shameful or bad. I forgive myself for judging myself as shameful or bad when I express myself creatively. I forgive myself for judging myself as anything less than a beautiful flower of the Beloved!!!
I let all of this go and I say this to myself, “I am love.”
I am so grateful for all of the chances that I get to love. To be creative. And to treat myself really well.
I would love to hear your own ways of treating yourself as a blossom of love, and how expressing it inspires you to connect to the loving of your heart.
Please feel free to share in the comments below. I love you.
Love, Debbie
ps – Here is the video I did on Facebook!! Just posted to my YouTube channel. (Apologies that the sound cuts out a bit at the end 🙂 )
Wow Debbie, that is a really difficult question you’re asking me there! How do I treat myself, as a blossom of love? I actually don’t know an answer on it. But I’ll definitely be reading the comments on this particular blogpost, to get probably some inspiration from others. You really let me think about this subject, thank you for that. Wish you a lovely upcoming week!

Oh Anne, you are so welcome! I encourage you to tune into your heart – there is so much wisdom there. It could be something simple, like breathing or putting your hand on your heart as a way to treat yourself well. Or to sit with a good friend with a cup of tea (or coffee 🙂 ).
I love that you are on this blog, Anne. I am doing a free intro on forgiveness this Friday and you are welcome to attend. It’s online! If you’d like to find out more just email me @ weloveyou@forgivingconnects.com. Blessings — Debbie

I try to notice the way I am internally talking to myself. I have a history of living with a critical voice and I making space today to listen to that voice, question it and speak kindly to myself.

Ali, this is absolutely beautiful. I am inspired to do the same! To listen to the voices that don’t serve me – give them love – and speak kindly to ME. Blessings, Ali. You are a shining inspiration. Going to check out your blog now for your poetry!

I’m currently looking after an elderly parent (my Dad) and one of the things that I’ve noticed is that I am teaching him to care once again (if ever!) for himself and with this delicate work, make sure not to stop caring for myself. Taking time to walk in nature yesterday gave me the gift to meet him each brand new day without expectations – thank you for reminding me to make sure I keep it up!

So many blessings to you, and to your Dad. ❤ These are beautiful ways to treat yourself well – nature is such a gift of love, isn't it? It is so important to take the time and space to be aware …. to step into our own self-loving … you are wise & caring, and I honor you! Lots of love – Debbie

Hello dear Debbie!
A very heartfelt post from you. Your creative side is clearly wishing to be seen and heard. I really hope you act on it… anyway you feel called to.
For me, in response to your question, I’m now beginning to become my own best friend by listening to times I’m anxious or stressed and actually do something proactive about it. Thank you for your lovely post and video too… always great to see you.
Have a wonderful week, lovely 🦋💜

I really like this one Debbie! Whenever I align my chakras, I think about my heart chakra, and I very specifically begin with loving myself as a baby (who was abandoned, literally in an apartment bldg). I begin there and think on what I would’ve wanted as that baby, which is love and affection. This is how I treat myself as a blossom of love.
