Today’s forgiving journal is about nurturing love.
I spent a lot of my life hating my body. I had anorexia, and bulimia. I overdrank and probably oversexed. I’m admitting these things because sometimes it’s important to come clean.
I’m surprised at how uncomfortable it is to write all of this down, as I’ve done a LOT of spiritual and psychological work on myself in regards to these issues. Well, there it is. Thank you to me for doing my very best here (and everywhere).
I have a commitment to accepting and loving all parts of me, and truly letting go of what doesn’t go with that.
I’m going to do my forgiving process.
1 – Self-forgiveness: I forgive myself for judging myself for feeling ashamed at my behavior. I forgive myself for judging myself for hating my body. I forgive myself for judging myself for not valuing my womanhood in this life.
2 – Letting go: I am so sorry to all the parts of me that I have not / did not / am not accepting and loving. I am doing the best that I can, and my intention is to do better as I learn to!
3 – Gratitude: I am grateful to come clean with myself. I am grateful for the smile that is on my face. I am grateful for my resilience and for my spiritual teacher, John-Roger, who inspires me to love myself.

John-Roger, speaking of this great dude, has a great quote – a friend just posted it on my Facebook wall:
As you forgive yourself and let go, you can say to yourself: “That’s no longer real, it no longer exists, and my life begins anew from this moment on.”
~John-Roger
SO: I say to myself: “That is no longer real, it no longer exists, and my life begins anew from this moment on.” YES!
I love you.
Love and Light,
Debbie
