Today’s forgiving journal: A Peace Ambassador at Last!

Today’s forgiving journal is about a Peace Ambassador at last!

This is the third time I started to write this blog.

Yesterday, I became aware of a way that I behaved in a past relationship that I wasn’t proud of.  I started crying – just letting out the grief, the disappointment, and probably a lot of other things too.

Right now, I’d like to forgive – because I choose to love myself.  And give compassion to myself.

1 – Self-forgiveness: I forgive myself for judging that I needed to be perfect in my relationship. I forgive myself for judging myself for not honoring myself and my partner.  I forgive myself for judging myself as responsible for the break up and for feeling ashamed.

2 – Letting Go: I let this go into the Light and give it over to peace.  To compassion.  To great love.  And I walk free.

3 – Gratitude: I am grateful that in forgiveness, there is NO NEED to get it perfect.  Because all I need to do is to do my best, and the loving heals it all.

The funny thing is that I’m considering doing a workshop “Making Peace with Yourself”.  In it, we can look at the area of our life where we’re not at peace, and do forgiveness.  I guess I am learning how to walk my talk.

And my prayer for each of us is that we truly and deeply carry compassion for ourselves and for our planet.  There, I said it.  I have such a vision for peace.

I used to want to be a peace ambassador at the UN, it was such a dream of mine.  What I claim right now is that I AM a peace ambassador.  I invite you to claim it too, however that looks for you!  We all carry compassion.

I love you.

Love, Debbie

ps – This is my second contribution for Frank’s photo challenge, Curves.  Frank, I see our compassion encircling the curves of the planet with love.  You inspire me, Frank!

  3. HI Debbie– you do seem like such a peaceful person– and you know we all have difficult relationships. That’s where we get the chance to love people in spite of themselves being not that lovable! Another interesting post Debbie. thank you friend. xo

    1. One of the most beautiful quotes I ever read was from my spiritual teacher, John-Roger. He said: “There is so much there for you once you open yourself to it and place yourself upon this path of unfoldment. It’s magnificent. And it is all a manifestation of love.” I am learning how to forgive and see love everywhere. So grateful to connect with you on this path, dear Rhonda. ❤ Blessings to your day, Debbie
