Today’s Forgiving Fridays: A Poem on the Labyrinth

Today’s Forgiving Friday’s is A Poem on the Labyrinth

I just want to say that I have so many prayers to forgiveness.

“ForgivingFridays” is a weekly invitation for you to take action to forgive today (or any day this week!) and post about it on your blog, or on Facebook or other social media, using #ForgivingFridays and #Iforgive.

Today, I read a poem to forgive for #ForgivingFridays.  My intention is to share the love and open to greater forgiveness.  I was scared (and excited), and I did it!!

I forgive myself for judging myself for my expression.  I let it go, and I am grateful to me for my vulnerability.

What would you like to forgive?  I encourage you to share it!   You could post a poem, or a photo that helps you to forgive, or a quote on forgiveness, and you can also simply say, “I forgive”. Whatever connects for you.

Last week, one beautiful blogger, Miriam from The Showers of Blessings, joined in #ForgivingFridays with a poem that inspires forgiveness for her.  Click here to read her post.  Thank you, Miriam.  You are a shining example of courage, vulnerability and love. ❤

Forgiveness starts inside.  My commitment is to learn that with every fiber of my being.  And I invite you to join me, however that creates a safe space inside of you.

See my super cool poem for this week, and my reading of it on YouTube! (OMG) I love you.

Here are the guidelines of this challenge:

  • Write a post to share your contribution on forgiveness anytime up until next Wednesday night! Free free to be creative – there’s LOTS of space for your expression! Whatever inspire forgiving for you
  • Please tag your post with #ForgivingFridays (if you’re not sure about how tags work, please check out this WordPress article about tagging posts)
  • Create a pingback link to this post. This way, I can create a post showing all of the submissions over the week
  • Have fun creating your own form of forgiving, of loving YOU!!

Out of the Love

I wrote this poem on the labyrinth – the curves help me to relax and soothe my mind. Frank, here’s my contribution for your photo challenge, curves!  What a blessing.

The key is love March 3 and 4 2017

true – what is

truth –

Breathe. OK, and

now this is you

Forgive it, and

Forget it. God

What is the “d”

for you to end

your name? Please,

I need to

-What is it? Out

of the Box. Does

It STOP the mind.

Yes. Breathe. This

is you. – Be now.

Oh Beloved, flood your

heart w/love

Forgive it is the BOX.

      1. Hi Debbie! Thanks so much for all the encouragement! I loved it! I was looking for you during the run and thought I might’ve heard you or seen you but wasn’t sure. It was quite THE adventure and I just wrote about it. I’m so very grateful and relieved and happy. I did better than expected but there was one moment when I thought I wouldn’t make it. So I will never take this experience for granted and cherish it forever 🙂 Thanks again! Karen

      3. Thanks Debbie! Tonight I’m definitely stretching and foam rolling more. I spend the whole day just resting and taking in lots of fluids and electrolytes. And eating! 🙂 Yesterday I could not move an inch! lol 🙂 Thanks Debbie and have a great evening!

  1. Great poem! Just what I needed today, Debbie. I did something foolish this week but because I didn’t know and now I can’t forgive myself. I forgive others so easily but not myself. Thanks for inspiring me. Blessings 💗💗💗🌈

    1. Yes I see it! For some reason, I didn’t get the pingback on my post, so I am very glad that you commented ❤ I'm going to find out what happened. In the meantime, I will most certainly include your GORGEOUS poem in my next Forgiving Fridays. So blessed to know you … Much love, Debbie

      3. OK, so here is the answer: you linked to my post using the link from the Reader, https://wordpress.com/read/blogs/109774809/posts/2373, not the actual link to my post.

So all you need to do is edit your post and make sure it links to my actual post (not the one on the Reader). That link if helpful is: https://forgivingconnects.com/2017/03/17/todays-forgiving-fridays-a-poem-on-the-labyrinth/

That will generate a pingback! Thank you so much, and it is really fun to do forgiveness work with you. ❤ Blessings, Debbie
