Today’s forgiving journal is forgiving deeply.
I’m in a Soul-Centered Coaching Program this weekend, to help me with my next steps for Forgiving Connects. (yay) Last night, I was sharing with someone dear to me how excited I was …. and I was so worried that he wasn’t going to like me when I was this excited.
What I realized is that it is ME that doesn’t like myself when I get enthusiastic, like some part of me pushes my natural enthusiasm down. “It’s stupid”, or “I have too many ideas” or simply “I am not enough”.
Well, that is silly! I claim, here and now in this blog, that I am so full of loving and that my ideas are beautiful. This website, and all the sharing on forgiveness, is beautiful and a blessing just because I shared it.
Time for forgiving:
1 – Self-forgiveness: I forgive myself for judging myself as never enough. I forgive myself for judging my natural enthusiasm as stupid. I forgive myself for judging myself for putting myself down.
2 – Letting go: I put all of these judgments and all of this forgiveness into the Light so that I may go free. I walk in my own loving embrace.
3 – Gratitude: I am so grateful for co-creating this awesome Forgiving Connects project and everything and everyone in it! I am SO FULL OF JOY about it and all of you!
***
Enthusiasm, from my understanding, means the energy of Spirit. Well, I invite the energy of Spirit to be present in me, to be my senior partner in my next steps with Forgiving Connects.
I am so grateful for you! I love you!
Love,
Debbie #Iforgive
ps = here is a video that I did to introduce forgivingconnects.com – I was so excited! ❤
I love getting excited about something, and also find myself backing off on my enthusiasm when worried about others telling me to tone it down. I am slowly bringing myself back to a place of not worrying about what others think of my excitement, and allowing myself to wax enthusiastic in the moment! Have a wonderful, enthusiastically exciting day!!

You list forgiving yourself that’s the first step. That is the worst hurdle to get over. But when you do, oh how nice and freeing!

The energy of spirit overflows in you. You generously share it with others. To restrain our natural passion denies our true spirit.

Hi Debbie, Thank you for sharing your process. Being aware of how you feel, as if you are standing back watching yourself, accessing yourself. It’s very good. Not too many people do that. Some people don’t even know what they have done after it happened. It take the self conscience to “check” on yourself. I do that sometimes. But I also allow myself to be free, to be real. When I laugh, I laugh loud. When I cry, I can stop. Enthusiasm and positivity are scarce, and it’s precious when you have them and let them overflow from your beautiful inner self. You would just initiate a domino effect to get a whole bunch of people around you to be enthusiastic and being positive. Let your light shine, shine, shine… Love you very much, Miriam

Miriam, this is a great comment! My spiritual mentor John-Roger has called observation the key to letting go. Boy, I’m learning a lot about the truth of this statement. It also helps me to be gentle and compassionate with myself. Thanks for the cheerleading. I so enjoy watching your Light shine too!
Love and Blessings — Debbie 🙂

Your ideas are indeed beautiful, and don’t ever, for even one minute, allow yourself believe that you’re not enough. You’re simply amazing, my friend. 🙂

I relate to your story of seeing yourself as wrong. It is an amazing journey to learn to accept myself the way I am instead of the way I think I should be. I am still working on it. Your authentic reflections are illuminating. Thank you.

You got it, Ali. I’m still working on learning to accept myself too. My spiritual teacher has called acceptance the first law of Spirit. It is my solid foundation for forgiveness!! Much love to you … so glad that you are here.

The retreat was transformational – it’s actually a 6-month program with a summer lab. I’m really looking forward to what comes in the next months 🙂 (and beyond). Many blessings, my friend.

That’s a lovely thing to say Debbie – thank you!! I’m so glad you enjoyed your weekend – and can look forward to more inspiration over the next few months. I’m going to a 3 day event in February which is all about ‘change’ and the ‘blocks’ that hold us back so I’m also looking forward to some ‘lightbulb’ moments very soon too..
Thanks for your inspiring messages too and I hope you continue to enjoy this 6 month programme!! Blessings returned with love! xx
