Hi loves,
I just posted a forgiving journal on speaking my heartfelt dreams. I became so aware in that post how much I was trying to distract myself from really acknowledging what I want to create for 2017.
So I did a video to share about it, and to invite you to share your keys on how to help yourself when you are distracting yourself from what is true. ❤
Please feel free to share your stories in the comments section. Enjoy the video!
And a happy, happy, happy new year to all of my blog followers. Many blessings.
I love you.
Love,
Debbie
ps – I created a Facebook group for all of us to share about forgiveness. You are welcome to join – it’s a safe space to forgive, to learn, and to care about one another. 🙂 Click here for the group!
Very nice.

Going for a good walk is one way I come present and release distractions when they show. Also having a good laugh. Or dancing to some upbeat music.

Praying you’ll know God’s best for your future. When I need to focus, I read my Bible in the mornings, write about what I find important, list 3 things I’m thankful for and write out the prayers for people I love. It starts my day well… Love you Debbie. xo

Three gorgeous qualities, Miriam. I am sending love and blessings for your experience of compassion, kindness, and self-awareness for 2017 and beyond! Love, Debbie ps – there’s a chance I’ll be in Sydney the first week of March, if you happen to be in the area. Blessings!

Each of your videos are so special Debbie, they’re so spontaneaous and I can totally feel your thoughts come from your heart! Thank you for sharing this, such a fullfillment!
Oh and about the question, when I get distracted and I realize it I try to stop for a moment and re-focus on what it’s actually what I really want to do, since I’m a really frenetic and busy person, stopping for a while really helps me!!
Thank you again Debbie!

When I feel overwhelmed and it’s stopping me doing something because it feels ‘too big, too hard, impossible’, I try and break it down into those ‘little pieces’ and then give myself a push to take just one step. One of my favourite lines is “A Journey Of A Thousand Miles Begins With A Single Step” – I love this quote and remind myself of it often. Thanks so much for sharing your love Debbie… I love the beauty within these videos! x

Thank you, Wendy – what a wise step to take to support yourself. ❤ Completely love it. I learned a lot.
I am fairly certain that quote is from Lao Tzu — it's on my website in the Share Your Story section!!
Many blessings and love to you – Debbie

I’ll take a look as I’ve heard and used it so many times but not known where it originated… brilliant and thanks! x
