Today’s forgiving journal: Embracing us all!

Note: this is my submission for Dutchgoesthephoto‘s weekly challenge.  The focus for this week is patterns.  Boy, this one taught me a lot. 🙂

Today’s forgiving journal is about embracing us all!
My computer crashed. Late last night. That was a hard thing for me, at first. I didn’t get a lot of sleep, and I had a whole lot of self-judgment come in about what I might have done wrong, and about feeling really alone.
keyboard pattern Frank Challenge July 15 2016At one point, I came to a crystal clear awareness that I could do this whole situation differently. I could relax. I could know that divine aid was with me every step of the way. And most of all, I could open my heart to connecting with myself and each person involved.
So I began to do this. For example, I was talking with the UPS people in the shop where I sent my computer off for help. As I was speaking with them, I smiled. I planted a blessing of Light in the store. One of their friends offered me a latte!
I realized that I could take care of myself and take care of others – that we are one amazing family, and every situation is an opportunity for us to connect in loving.
Time for forgiving:
I forgive myself for judging myself for staying up so late last night to try to fix my computer. I forgive myself for judging myself as alone and without resources. I forgive myself for judging that I made a horrendous mistake.
I give all this over to the Light of my Soul!!! I let it go!! I breathe, I smile, and I dance (I’m really doing that right now).
I am grateful for my computer showing me that we all belong to each other – we are a love family, no matter what the particular circumstances may be.

Funny that it was my computer. There’s a pattern in the keyboard that I was following that does not fully serve me. It’s time to step up in my loving and embrace EVERY situation, person, etc., as a gift.
I love you.
Love,
Debbie

  1. Sometimes it’s important to take a step back and look at the big picture, relax and just accept but life is constantly testing us, isn’t it. Lovely post and insights Debbie, wishing you a happy week ahead. xo
