Today’s forgiving journal is about reawakening to joy.
Earlier this morning, I participated in a “forgiving circle” with beautiful people from all over the world. There were 5 of us, and it was the first forgiving circle we’ve had.
One of the questions we shared about at the beginning was simply, “What’s present?” I was present to immense joy. It was like I was reawakening to the wonder of my deepest prayers, that loving really does make the world go around. (My brother and I used to argue about this when we were kids – he said it was money.)
I am aware that somewhere down the line, I got a bit discouraged in my dreams. And I stopped expressing them somehow. Wow, that stops me in my tracks.
Time for my forgiving process:
1 – Self-forgiveness: I forgive myself for judging myself for giving up on my dreams, or at least getting discouraged. I forgive myself for judging myself for pushing down my wonderment and innocence.
2 – Letting go: I let go of any blocks to expressing my heart. I give it all over to the spiritual support that works with me, for the very highest good!
3 – Gratitude: I am so grateful for honoring the truth of my own heart. I am grateful for feeling like I’m not sure what I’m writing except that I know it’s on track for me. I am grateful for this amazing group of people dedicated to forgiving – and for Spirit for bringing them to me.
I’m a minister in an alternative spiritual group called MSIA. When I first became a minister, I received a blessing as ways I can serve. The first line of my blessing is “Spirit places a blessing of great joy.” My intuition is that this blessing came alive in a whole new way for me today.
To all the people in my forgiving circle this morning, thank you.
I went to a super cool restaurant in L.A. this past weekend, where patrons can do art on the ceiling. Here’s one of the art pieces – it spoke to me on how much I dream for something really beautiful. Sharing it in case it touches your heart too. ❤
I love you all!
Love, Debbie

Present joy allows us to have a strong, happy, self assured future. Wisdom lets me learn and grow and let go of the past. It aka wisdom and gratitude that today i realise the value of today and the past. The past because i stopped doing something that today i realise how great that act that habit is . If i had carried on would i appreciate it so much today. Beautuful post enjoyed. Learn from the past , take action today, a beautiful today awaits a long with a strong future. At the brahma kumaris we always say there is good in everything , everything. If we see life with these eyes that everything is good we honesty can see benefit in everything even the horrible stuff.
i do love your posts and step by step process.
