Frank Jansen hosts a beautiful blog Dutchgoesthephoto, and he does a Tuesday Challenge each week. They are so fun!
He chooses a focus and we can take a photo with that focus in mind. This week’s focus is clouds. Thank you Frank!! #fpj-photo-challenge
Also, Ioana of musicteacherlifestyle asked me to do a “kindness quote challenge” this week. So I thought I’d combine both into one post!
Here are my photos for the Tuesday “clouds”:
This first one is my attempt to capture wispy clouds without much success. 🙂
I did much better with this second one! Adding some context – just enough to see the clouds better – really helped. So did stepping back and getting a wider angle.
What does this teach me about forgiving? It is to be really kind with myself, because maybe with my judging….with my limiting thoughts…with the many ways I’ve been hard on myself… I’m just doing my best to see the clouds better. It’s my way of giving myself context so that I finally see what I’m searching for – ME!
My kindness quotes for this day are:
“Forgiving is my way to step back and get a wider angle.”
“Learning why I judge opens me to a sky full of kindness.”
and last but not least….
“Forgiving is an act of kindness to those parts inside yearning for me to see them.”
All new quotes by Debbie!!
I am finding my voice.
I love you!
Love, Debbie
Keep singing your song of forgiving! it is music to my ears.

I love the fact that even your kindness quotes are about forgiveness. Yes, forgiving is an act of kindness, sometimes more so for yourself than for others. 🙂

Thank you Ioana! I’m so grateful that you chose me for the quote challenge, and that kindness was your choice for a theme. It really inspired me to combine the two! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend. 🙂

Oh Miriam, thank you! So lovely to hear from you. 🙂 It just came to me in an inspirational flash!! Keep niggling at me (in a really nice way) so I just went with it. It was uncomfortable working out exactly what to say, and I did my best to make that ok … part of the process, right? Bless you, Miriam.

Thank you Frank! You are so kind 🙂 It was fun … I was with a friend of mine and told her about your blog. Blessings – and hope you had a safe trip return from Israel and are setting back home nicely.

Oh thank you so much! It’s funny BC I agonized over that for a while. Maybe I needed to give birth to it – that’s what it felt like. Blessings to you!!
